Our fresh mushrooms are sold directly to customers at our farmers markets and through the Umami Mushroom Box. We also sell a small quantity to a unique set of restaurants in the lower mainland through Oyster and King, our beloved distributor.

At the farmers markets we sell a selection of freshly cultivated, dried and foraged mushrooms, as well as our bloom bags. The strains of cultivated, foraged and dried mushrooms we sell vary according to our supply that week. Cultivated mushrooms include portobello, shiitake, oyster varieties, lion's mane and velvet piopini. Our customers especially love the farmers market mix that gives you a taste of oyster, shiitake and portobello! 

 

 Foraged mushrooms are season dependent. Our team of foragers carefully handpick each mushroom from forests all over British Columbia. Foraged varieties include morels, pine (matsutake), candy cap, porcini, lobster and chanterelles. Dried mushroom varieties (available year round) include porcini, pine (matsutake), chaga, lobster, and candy cap.

 
We also partner with a few local CSA boxes supplying fresh mushrooms to Seed of Life, Fresh Roots, and Fractal Farms.
